Cookie Policy (EU)

Last updated: July 25, 2026

This policy explains what myisocert.com stores on your device and who receives your data. We apply it to every visitor, wherever you are. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the rights set out below apply to you under the GDPR and equivalent law.

Key definitions

  • Cookies: a small file sent along with pages of this website and stored by your browser for later retrieval.
  • Local storage: a similar browser storage area, but one that is never automatically sent to a server. We use it for your cart and your cookie choice.
  • Scripts: program code executed on servers or devices to enable proper website functionality.

Cookie categories

Cookies are conventionally grouped into the categories below. Only the first two are used on this site.

  1. Technical / functional — required for basic site operations, placed without consent. Used on this site.
  2. Statistics — requires your permission; provides usage insights. Used on this site, only if you accept.
  3. Marketing / tracking — creates user profiles for targeted advertising. Not used.
  4. Social media — embedded content from social networks. Not used. This site embeds no social media content.

What this site actually stores

  • Google Analytics (statistics, optional) — sets _ga and _ga_PDL93PVTP6, which expire after two years and record how the site is used (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). These are set onlyafter you select "Accept". If you select "Reject", or simply ignore the banner, Google Analytics is never loaded at all — no request is made to Google and nothing about your visit is sent to them. Advertising and personalisation signals are disabled even when you do accept. Analytics data is retained for 2 months and then deleted automatically.
  • Consent record (technical)— your Accept or Reject choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the banner isn't shown again.
  • Shopping cart (technical)— the courses you add are held in your browser's local storage until you check out. This never leaves your device until you place an order.
  • Spam protection (technical) — the contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish people from bots. Submitting the form sends a verification token to Cloudflare.
  • Checkout (technical) — placing an order sets a short-lived session cookie needed to process and pay for it.

Who receives your data

We do not sell your data. It is shared only with the providers needed to run the service:

  • Google (Google Analytics)— only if you accept analytics cookies. If you do not accept, no data reaches Google at all. Where you do, Google processes it in the United States, and transfers outside the EEA rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. See Google's privacy policy.
  • Cloudflare (Turnstile) — receives a verification token when you submit the contact form, to confirm you are not a bot.
  • RaiAccept — our payment provider. When you place an order, the details needed to take payment are passed to them. We never see or store your full card number.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request corrections or deletion
  • Restrict how we process your data
  • Revoke consent and request data removal
  • Transfer your data to another provider
  • Object to processing
  • Lodge a complaint with your national data protection supervisory authority

To exercise any of these, email myisocert.ks@gmail.com. We will respond within one month.

Consent management

Visitors receive a banner on first visit offering "Accept" or "Reject" for optional analytics cookies. Nothing optional is stored before a choice is made. To change your decision later, clear this site's data in your browser settings and the banner will appear again on your next visit.
